The Fukagawa Seiji Manufacturing Company factory is located in front of a mountain and with a stream running through it. It is a small factory following in the footsteps of an old tradition handed down from generation to generation. Most visitors are surprised to see the craftsmen using their hands. The tools are almost the same as the ones used during the Meiji era.
Looking at this scenario and the craftsmen at work one can only wonder as if time has stood still from the Meiji era. Fukagawa styles are created from this small workshop and showcased to porcelain lovers all over the world. The philosophy of the company has always been the same even after one hundred and ten years.
