Old items are all no longer available

I have often received great questions from people. I am always happy to answer for any kind of question.
However, I would like to let people know one thing about inquiry for old items.
Since Fukagawa-Seiji porcelain used to be sold to the USA long time ago. Many people still used and keep them. With this reason, people ask us for the value of those items. For instance, the products 700 or 900 series, and bone chin finish. These items were made sometime 1960th to 1980th. and all discontinued.
It means we do not keep the information anymore and we are unable to provide you the original value and current value either. We also have no connection with resale market.

I hope all of you enjoy the items you have now and new items that on our website.
I often see 100 yeas old Fukagawa porcelain and they still just look like brand new. Fukagawa art never be worn out.

The Fukagawa Seiji Porcelain Manufacturing Company factory

The Fukagawa Seiji Manufacturing Company factory is located in front of a mountain and with a stream running through it. It is a small factory following in the footsteps of an old tradition handed down from generation to generation. Most visitors are surprised to see the craftsmen using their hands. The tools are almost the same as the ones used during the Meiji era.
Looking at this scenario and the craftsmen at work one can only wonder as if time has stood still from the Meiji era. Fukagawa styles are created from this small workshop and showcased to porcelain lovers all over the world. The philosophy of the company has always been the same even after one hundred and ten years.
