Annual Arita porcelain (ceramic) ware bazaar in 2009

This is one of the most famous porcelain ware sale events in Japan. Since this event has a long history and is quite popular, many people come from all over Japan and foreign countries to attend this event. More than 1,000,000 people visit the city of Arita during the time of this sale.
This event originally started 105 years ago with a very small porcelain ware show. Since this first show, it has become an annual sale event and approximately 600 retail stores participate.
If you come to this event, you will see the history of Arita porcelain art, learn about the city, visit an outlet store (only at the time of the event), and there will also be booths for foreigners (only at the time of the event).
